Models Own Glitter Nail Varnish: (NP010) Disco mix - Review
Rimmel Lycra PRO: (402) Urban Purple - Review
(Images taken after 3 days of wear)
The last couple of weeks Boots drug store has been doing 3 for 2, on beauty products in time for summer. When I saw this Disco Mix glitter (£5.00) - well lets say I was like a moth to a flame! The glitter consists of two colours cobalt blue and fuchsia on a clear base. The colour is automatically opaque and surprisingly only really took one coat to completely cover the nail. I've had it on my ring fingers for 3 days now and it hasn't chipped yet (touch wood!)
Another varnish I decided to get was this 'Urban Purple' colour by Rimmel (£4.59). I much prefer the colour in the bottle as it is a lighter pinky purple - which I thought would compliment the Models Own one when teamed together. Rimmel claim this nail varnish to be: 'Long Lasting, Chip Resistant and anti- fade.' However I dont feel like mine has lasted and despite not having done an awful lot it has certainley chipped?
I do really like the 'maxi-brush' on this brand as it is the perfect width to do the entire nail in one, speeding up the process. The varnish only took 1-2 coats to become completely opaque and has a nice glossy finish.
the third varnish I bought was a Barry M which I haven't used yet.
