So it seems our British summer is something of a disappointment this year. My pastels colours, sandals and short shorts were ready and have seen all of about 12days of sun. So this post is a colour I will be buying ready for Autumn/Winter... Purple. The colour has moved from its flash in spring summer pastels and developed in to deeper and richer hues for the A/W season. Deep purple is a colour that suits most skin types and can create anything from a classy chic look, to a gothic style.

Purple was a massive colour in the A/W catwalks earlier this year with everyone from Christopher Kane to Mui Mui including a flash of deep purple in their collections. The purple trend didn't just end with the clothes either continuing into the run way carpets too.
being such a flattering colour it is no wonder that the high street has jumped straight on to this trend, and I expect more to come in during the cooler months. Here is my favourite high street purple picks.
