By far my favourite trend of this season, Pastels seems a little out of place in the midst of cooler climates and British downpours. But your eyes are not deceiving you, this season we will all be wearing pastel shades and pale coloured outerwear, rather than the dreary browns we're used to. The ice cold shades are the perfect way to add a feminine twist to any outfit.

Such a fantastic dupe for the chloe coat (seen above) and at such an affordable price, who can say no to this oversized wool beauty? The dusky pink and interesting texture make it a staple item for this A/W and you cannot fault the smart yet slouchy combination that'd look so chic with a pair of skinny jeans.
A pale aqua biker jacket is just what you need to update your winter wardrobe this year. Perfect for the cooler and more casual days where when you're just shopping with friends or having coffee with your Mum, it's a comfortable and chic style that screams fashionista. The style which is more commonly associated with black leather, looks a lot less harsh without losing the grungy aura it portrays.
Yellow is a shade not commonly known for it's flattering tones, but since the Topshop Unique show back in February I just cannot get enough of it. However, I know yellow can be a little daunting especially for those of us who live in our trusty black dresses and jeans. But, these pumps are the ideal pop of colour without being totally daunting. The mixture of textures, black sole and gold detailing make them a chic and wearable addition to your all black wardrobe.
If you know me you'll know I have a mid addiction to the midi skirt, especially a pastel colour one. Oh my! I love the cut and dusky shade of this one from Coast. Ok, it is a little pricer than the other items on this page but it would look perfect at a wedding or prom with a cute white jumper or cropped tee. It is most certainly the trans-seasonal skirt that will last you a long long time.
