A/W TREND NO.3: THE SWINGING SIXTIES

Ahh the sixties, a real turning point for fashion. The time when mini skirts were at their peak and the oh so flattering shift dress had its moment but more importantly fashion was FUN. So, I couldn't be happier that this season the sixties are back, with bright patterns, flattering shapes and showing of a little bit of leg - What a better trend than this to keep us smiling through the cooler months? The high street has so much to offer with A line skirts and higher hem lines being everywhere this is the trend that we are sure to all be incorporating into our festive wardrobe.

(1) New Look Jumper - £19.99
The powder blue and adorable fluff makes this the ideal winter warmer for keeping comfortable and on trend. The three quarter length sleeves give this jumper that sixties vibe while adding texture to any outfit.

(2) Zara Skirt - £35.99
Oh boy, I need this skirt! How beautiful is it? Red is one of this seasons must-have hues and the flared A line shape gives a gorgeous and model like silhouette this winter. Teamed with a roll neck tee and black boots people will be mistaking you for Twiggy in no time I am sure!

(3) Asos Shoes - £60
Behold the statement shoe! Perfect for a night out on the town, these platformed sandals give that sixties glamour and fun pattern that we have been missing in our winter wardrobe. These will look great teamed with a shift dress or something a little more casual. Just be sure that these shoes will be the talking point of the night.

(4) Topshop Dress - £50
I LOVE this dress. The stunning 60's shape makes it super flattering and fun, while showing just enough leg, while still looking smart. This is the perfect dress for a big event, or even your work get-up but be sure this dress will have heads turning. Incorporating the sixties love for print with a geometric pattern makes this dress the modern way to do sixties glamour.
