It is very rare that I purchase a product just because it is new. I much prefer to try things I've read up on and form my own opinion over a longer period of time... But, after reading about L'Oreal launching an eyeshadow palette I simply couldn't resist. So, I've only been using this palette for 5 days now but here is what I think so far!
Yup, it's good! Like really good! The highly pigmented buttery shades apply to the lids with great ease forming a gorgeous wash if colour. The shade selection consisting of season appropriate purples, pinks and neutral shades is ideal for any skin tone. The palette holds a mix of high quality matte and shimmers that both last beautifully on the lids. From dark smokey shades, to neutral tones and even champagnes this palette can take you from day to night with ease.
L'Oreal have it on point with a lot of their releases and this rivals a lot of the high end palettes for just £14.99! The purple undertones are on trend right now with everyone releasing these rose hued palettes.
My only fault with these are the brush! I would go as far as to say the double ended brush/sponge that comes with the palette is useless! Like seriously pants!
I find the shadows to last a full day on my lids, but the more matte shades begin to crease without an eye primer - this is only after a really long time and battling some crazy weather conditions.
Overall I love this palette and have rotated into my daily makeup routine, waving goodbye to my beloved naked 2 palette and gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury!
So if you're on the look out for one of this seasons rose toned palettes but don't want to spend loads of money I recommend this gorgeous palette with expensive looking packaging and expensive feeling products inside all from your local drugstore!
